This beautiful door is called
The Indian Creek Entry
It is made of Old Growth VG Redwood
with a Curly Redwood Panel
It is 36" X 84" X 1-3/4"
The insulated art glass is Spectrum Granite

This is a scan of the end grain of the wood used in the making of this door

BUT FIRST! We had to make a form to make that arched top jamb

5 thin pieces of Mahogany are glued and clamped to the shape of the form

It stays in clamps for 5 days till the glue is completely cured. This helps give the piece a minimum "spring back"

ready to have a look at our jamb head stock

here are the layers that were glued together. All of the pieces came from the same board

Now we can start on the door. Here are the pieces used to make this beautiful door.
